I am what I like to call, a “before and after person”. Nothing in this world brings me more joy than taking something old, broken or unsightly, and making it beautiful. Over the years I have applied this practice to many different situations; restoring furniture, helping people organize their homes and recently, renovating properties with my partner. In all these situations the end result is the same; “Awe”. And a great satisfaction at what something can become. Additionally, I consider “organization” my super power. It seems I cant go into a cluttered space without the strong urge to “beautify” it. And so now, I am so excited to be sharing my passion with others. For the chance to organize, refresh and inspire YOUR home.
Tom has been working construction off and on for many years. As a child, his father taught him the basics of tools and woodworking. As a young adult, he and his brother created a business flipping houses. Now, Tom owns multiple properties that he has renovated extensively. He possesses a large range of skills including woodworking, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, tiling, cement work, flooring, welding and more. His specialty is carpentry; a skill he is now able to utilize when creating custom closets and storage solutions. Tom is also a vintage motorcycle enthusiast and owns his own business building bikes and selling parts.
Jamie met Tom in 2018 after returning from a backpacking trip in Europe. At the time she was a travel blogger looking for her next adventure, little did she know it would be him and their future life together
At that time Jamie took a job as a nanny and household manager. Her love for children and her home organizing skills were put to use during the week, while weekends consisted of renovation projects on her and Toms Canonsburg home. Fast forward 6 years and countless renovations projects later, Jamie's nanny job ended and she decided to start a home organizing business
Together Jamie and Tom consider themselves the dream team. Jamie has an eye for aesthetics and design and Tom has the ability to create just about anything. Their skills have been put to use in multiple properties; the most recent being a house that was torn down to the studs, which they rebuilt, designed and is now listed on Airbnb.
Now they are offering their services to others, specializing in closet and pantry remodels. You would be surprised how a bit of paint, shelving and perhaps some tile, can transform your space from something you tolerate into something you absolutely love!
